Boarding Includes the Following:

Feed and turnout on a regular schedule

Blanketing as needed for conditions

Appropriate feed, hay, and supplements for each individual: supplements supplied by owner

Stalls cleaned daily and generously bedded

Worming every 8 weeks

Stable supplies provided (i.e. vacuum, brushes)

Veterinary care scheduled as needed, we provide treatments and handling (extra charge for treatments as needed)

Blacksmith-we schedule, handle billing, and hold for blacksmith

Rings are dragged regularly, provide and maintain jumps and courses

Laundry available as needed

Night check/24 hr. care

Lesson Policy:

Lessons should be scheduled a week in advance and that lesson day should remain the same from week to week. Any changes should be written on the Penny’s weekly lesson schedule posted in the barn. Write the date you wish to change to under the schedule and she will call if she cannot make it. Cancellations for the following week should also be written.

Also posted in the barn is a calendar of events so you can see what we all are doing and when.

Lessons not scheduled a week in advance (last minute phone calls…) will have an additional $10.00 charge.

Lessons paid for in advance need to be used within 45 days or those lessons will be forfeited.

Cancellations need to be made 24 hours in advance or you will be charged the normal lesson fee.

When the weather is unsuitable (raining, very cold, extremely windy) lessons will be canceled for that day. If you would like to reschedule for that week please call or we will see you the following week.

Small group lessons will be 35.00 an hour; ½ hour lessons 25.00 small groups, 50 for a private 45-minute lesson.

You are responsible for taking care of your horse and your tack after each lesson. In warm weather this will require giving the horse or pony a bath. We will gladly show you how to do these small tasks. If you are on a time budget we will be happy to provide the service to you at a nominal fee. We feel it is important to understand all aspects of the horses and horsemanship.

Expenses per horse are pro-rated, including: tack, junk, and/or grooming stalls; feed, bedding, and/or hay purchased at show; motel and food for SES; motel and food for helpers; helpers day fees, etc.
