​​Lesson Policy
 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
ASTM helmet, long pants & hard-sole boots with heel REQUIRED.

Horse Care & Riding Instructions: (*Bring your horse or we will provide a horse for you to ride.)
  1. Find your name and horse on the board as well as special instructions. (IE: bell boots, wraps…)
  2. Groom & tack horse in cross ties, stall, or outside tie area.
  3. Sweep area used for grooming. Put away any brushes used.
  4. Proceed to arena. DO NOT MOUNT UNTIL INSTRUCTED.
  5. Older, show experienced riders, are both encouraged and expected to help our new horseman/woman with their horses and ponies.
  6. After the lesson, please untack your horse. Allow them to relax on the cross ties while you clean (wipe down bridle, girths, saddles) and put away.
  7. Provide additional after care (IE: grooming, sweat marks, bathing in hot weather, blanketing in cold weather) and return horse to appropriate place. Please ask if the horse goes to its stall or pasture.
  8. Sweep up aisle. Please leave the barn cleaner than you found it.
          *Pitching in/helping out will keep our labor costs down. 

Lesson Schedule Policy
Monthly Block Scheduling:
Monthly Lesson Block Agreement Doc
Commitment to same day and time each week for the month. Payable in full before the 7th of the month. $35 late fee.
  • Refunds and make-ups with 24 hour notice and doctor’s note.
    • Make-up times as available. To be used within the same month.
  • Weather related make-ups to be rescheduled Saturday or Sunday of the same week.

  • Lessons booked on a week to week basis will be scheduled on Sundays for an additional $5 fee.
*We are happy to accommodate all other scheduling based on what is available.
*Cedar Fox Farm has a weight limit of 200 lbs.
